Faith Statement
We accept the Apostles’ Creed as the rule of faith for the Seminary.
We believe the Old and New Testaments are fully inspired by God, through the Holy Spirit, without error, and are the supreme standard for faith and life.
ICBSIE fully embraces the “Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy”.
We believe in one true God, the Trinity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, the Creator and Ruler of all things.
We believe Jesus Christ possesses perfect divine and human natures and is the only salvation prepared by God for the world.
We believe that all who confess their sins, repent, and call upon the name of Jesus Christ are justified by God’s saving grace.
We believe the Church of Christ is composed of those are regenerated by the Holy Spirit, belongs to the Body of Christ, should seek unity in Christ, and witness and preach Christ with one heart.
We believe God’s revelation of the truth of salvation is complete; the Holy Spirit will not give new revelations.
